I have a core belief that our most important duty in life is to serve as a steward for the people and things that we care about the most.
What I have found is that the greatest stewards are so busy providing for others that they seldom take time out to help themselves. They are so others-focused that planning for their own success almost feels selfish. My primary function is to help our clients understand the value of having a comprehensive plan that provides them a clear path toward their goals, based on their vision, and totally directed by their values.
Whether you are starting a business or planning to exit your business, beginning to accumulate for retirement or beginning to distribute your wealth in retirement, or simply wanting to make sure that your legacy is fulfilled with certainty, the planning we provide gives you unbiased guidance and advice that ensures you are on target.

I have been a student of financial planning for my entire adult life. When first introduced to financial planning it was the math that caught my attention. After many years of being in practice it is the relational aspect of being a financial planner that I have grown to appreciate the most. It is said that if you find something you are passionate about and make a career of it that you’ll never work a day in your life. Every client that I have the opportunity to serve validates this statement.
I consider myself blessed to be in an occupation that delivers a source of stability and peace. It is my desire to help people identify and achieve their goals. Not necessarily from the lens of accumulating more wealth but from how financial independence allows them to spend their time. The cornerstone of a planner-client relationship is trust. I consider this the sacred vow of my profession & strive to uphold this expectation with each and every client relationship.
My wife Basia and I have been blessed with three children, Marshall, Alexis, and Kara. I was fortunate enough to captain the men's golf team in college and earn All-American Scholar Athlete honors two consecutive years. I started my practice in 2006 after graduating with honors in Personal Financial Planning from USM. I am a member at Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown TN, former board member of RISE Memphis & Windyke Country Club. When out of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family either on the golf course, on the water fishing, or in the outdoors.

With over 25 years in the financial services industry my extensive background allows for a truly independent and wholistic perspective to guide my clients along the path to financial success. My job is to meet people where they are on their journey and understand their ‘why’. I guide them in putting together a comprehensive plan, provide necessary coordination, resources, and accountability to accomplish the goals inside the plan. Studies have shown that those who put their plan in writing and allow for accountability have a 50% greater chance of success.
For privately-held business owners, my Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation was obtained to educate owners on increasing the business’s value (increase the multiple) through a proven value acceleration methodology and process. This strategy allows owners to transition the business on his/her own terms when the timing is right.
My wife Rachel and I live in Ridgeland, MS. We have 2 children, Ashley Anne and Caroline, and one grandchild, Lilla. I am a graduate of Marion Military Institute where I lettered in football, baseball and tennis and was named most valuable college athlete. I also graduated in Business Administration from University of Mississippi where I was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and lettered in football; and later earned my graduate degree from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Along with several financial industry associations, I am a member of Madison UMC, the Ole Miss MClub, and serve on the State of Mississippi Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board. When not at work or traveling with family, you will find me at Orange Theory Fitness or Annandale Golf Club.
